On Open Company Day (in Bilzen) and during Aspiravi on the Road (in Bilzen and Diest), we will be bringing everyone, both young and old, up to speed regarding the construction and operation of the new wind turbines.
Open Company Day in Bilzen
Got no plans for Sunday 6 October yet? In that case, why not come and admire the brand-new wind turbines in Bilzen with your own eyes during Open Company Day? From 10am to 5pm, you will be welcome to call by and receive comprehensive information about the construction and operation of the new wind turbines. Amongst other things, we will also let visitors know how local residents can participate in our projects and will offer them the chance to go on a virtual climb up to the top of a wind turbine!
You can find more detailed information on the Open Company Day website.
Aspiravi on the Road in Bilzen and Diest
During the run-up to Open Company Day, we will be welcoming hundreds of primary school children at the foot of the new wind turbine in Bilzen on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 October and on Thurday 10 and Friday 11 October at the newly erected wind turbine in Diest. They will discover everything there is to know about wind energy by taking part in a unique combination of education and experience in our Aspiravi on the Road container classrooms. Amongst other things, they will be able to generate their own green power using pedal power and experience the power of the wind thanks to a huge propeller. The container classrooms will be accessible to all visitors on Open Company Day on 6 October as well.
