Case:
D’Arta

Frozen food company runs partly on wind energy
Sustainability is key in all of d’Arta’s activities. In their search for a more sustainable solution for their energy policy, they found their perfect partner in the Aspiravi Group. Due to the nature of their activities as a frozen food processing company, d’Arta is a large consumer of energy. They can now obtain the full green electricity production from the wind turbine, covering 13% of their electricity consumption with wind energy.
Corporate Power Purchase Agreement
That direct line between the wind turbine and the corporate site enables a direct physical supply of electricity and hence obviates the need to use the public grid. Thanks to the wind energy project and this on-site Corporate PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), the Aspiravi Group and d’Arta avoid 3,700 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.
